Beardmore is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located on Highway 11 in the municipality of Greenstone.
Beardmore is situated 195 kilometres north-east of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
It's located 10 kilometres east of the shores of Lake Nipigon. Tourism and forestry are the township's major industries. Poplar Lodge Park can be accessed by traveling west on highway 580.
In the mid-1900s, the town prospered from the nearby Leitch Mine that contained gold deposits. Since the conclusion of that boom, the township has continually experienced population decreases.
Its local landmark is a giant, wooden snowman structure.
