Beanie Babies 2.0
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Beanie Babies 2.0 are a line of Beanie Babies that were introduced early in March 2008[1][2]. The group was introduced following the retirement of all remaining Beanie Babies that had been produced during 2007.
Each beanie comes with a special code. Once the buyer enters the code on [Ty.com Ty's website], the buyer is granted access to an online environment (similar to Webkinz) in which the user can gather points and communicate with other users through chat services. The chat is similar to other child-friendly games, such as Club Penguin, which allow pre-selected prompts to be used if the user has not given permission (presumably from their parents) to access the full chat. Full chat is simply typed chat.
Prompts may be used also, in addition to full chat. On the website there is many different things to do, like making friends, feed your pet, etc. Beanie Babies joined with Ty Girlz to create the website, so those with a Ty Girlz account you can go access the Beanie Babies 2.0 website[3].
