From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Beadwulf [Baldwulf, Badulf] was an Anglo-Saxon Bishop of Whithorn. On July 17, in either 789, 790 or 791, he was consecrated by Eanbald I, Archbishop of York, after his predecessor Æthelberht had become Bishop of Hexham. On May 24, 796, he assisted in the consecration of King Eardwulf of Northumbria at York, and then on August 14 of Eanbald II as Archbishop of York at Sockburn monastery. He also assisted the consecration of Egbert as Bishop of Lindisfarne at Bywell on June 11, 803. He is unheard of thereafter.
