Beacon Hill Station (Link station)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Beacon Hill Station will be a Sound Transit Central Link light rail stop in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. It will be a tunnel station, about 160 feet under South Lander Street, with an entrance located at the southeast corner of Beacon Avenue South and South Lander Street.
Four high-speed elevators will provide quick access between the surface and the station platform, taking about 20 seconds each way. It will open in summer 2009, and 3,000 daily boardings are predicted for the year 2020.[1]
