Beachwood Middle School

Beachwood Middle School is a public junior high school located in Beachwood, Ohio and is part of the Beachwood City School District with enrollment consisting of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders after the sixth graders were moved up to the middle school during the summer break in between the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 school years.
It has orchestra and band programs, as well as many sports teams ranging from soccer to football to baseball to volleyball. The sports teams are referred to as the Beachwood Bisons. Its student body was approximately 275 as of the 2006-2007 school year, before the 6th grade was added.
It is the 2004 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in the Technology Category due to its innovative use of laptop computers[1]. For this same reason, it has been also been noted as a "School of Distinction" by Apple Education [2].
The school offers use of the internet program INFOhio.
