Beachniks

The Beachniks are a band from Victoria, Australia. Their name is a reference to the term beatnik, however the word beach is used because the band lives and performs near the coastal town of Lorne, Victoria.
They have released two albums: The Many Moods of the Beachniks and Trombone Bay. The band has a loyal following and is known to play regularly around Lorne and Anglesea. They play a unique mix of reggae/ambient/funk and jazz. Both albums have seen fairly positive feedback and reviews, especially Trombone Bay.
