Beach Petroleum Limited

Beach Petroleum Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Adelaide Australia.
Beach is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange ASX with the security code BPT and it is a component of the S&P/ASX 200 index of major Australian companies.
Beach was established in the 1960's , however for many years it was not very successful. After eventually making some discoveries in the Cooper Basin, Beach now holds interests in production joint ventures in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin, the Basker-Manta-Gummy Joint Venture (offshore Gippsland Basin) and the Tipton West Joint Venture in the Surat Basin.
