amblem

Since there is an emblem section, maybe it's a good idea to put the stadium on the top near the lead and the emblem pic in the emblem section... [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 08:49, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)

The ideal look would be as in AC Milan or Juventus; I think it is already a customary style to put the emblem at the top of the page, alongside the first paragraph that describes the club. Also, the stadium image really is redundantly big, but I know that if I would resize the image, Erginer would re-enlarge it.--leandros 10:31, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

That shouldn't be reason for us to give up on improving this page. I see what you mean on the logo, but the stadium definately needs shrinking. I'm happy to give Erginer another chance on this, but he really should read his talk page. [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 10:51, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)

I replaced the logo with a high quality one from HQFL molosztash 14:20, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

I made some changes to the page, updated the kits, also removed the black eagle. molosztash 09:59, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

Requested move

Beşiktaş J.K.Beşiktaş J.K – I don't know why User:Thexcode moved it to Beşiktaş J.K (one dot) So i moved to Beşiktaş J.K. (two dot), but other Tukish team no dots Matt86hk talk 00:29, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

The request failed because after relisting it has only one oppose and no supports. --Dijxtra 10:24, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Survey

  • Weak Oppose: There isn't much consistency in the Turkish club article names and the categories have the periods just like the article. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:11, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Discussion

  • Based on looking at the official website and the text of the article, the proper name should be Beşiktaş JK, with no dots, right? —Centrxtalk • 00:02, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
    • No idea really. But I'd prefer if they were all moved at once - categories and all. Going from 8-5 in favor of dots to 7-6 in favor of dots (for example - I didn't count) is pointless IMHO. —Wknight94 (talk) 01:16, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
  • All page of Italian, English club have dots. All page of French, Spanish, Dutch, German one have no dots. Tukish page have no dots mostly. Matt86hk talk 01:27, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Where is that established? Admittedly I haven't searched for a naming convention for these but I'm puzzled why different countries would use different conventions. —Wknight94 (talk) 01:36, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Kit?

Beşiktaş were wearing an all-white kit during Beşiktaş v Tottenham (Beşiktaş at home) in the UEFA Cup Group Stage, is the kit in the article correct or have Beşiktaş now got an all-white home kit? - MTC 17:25, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
