[edit] External links

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Tripura do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. IPSOS (talk) 12:41, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Social networking sites are not permitted by WP:EL. That includes sites of the "portal" type. The page linked to must have reliable information about the subject which is not included in the article. Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links. The way this is normally dealt with is that we include a link to DMOZ. The type of link you are adding is usually included in DMOZ. If it is not, your efforts would be better placed by submitting it to DMOZ. Those types of links are considered SPAM here, and how long they have previously been in the article makes no difference. Could you kindly help me translate this article into the brilliant Kokborok language? Please.

The "True Jesus Church" is an independent church that was established in Beijing, China in 1917. Today, there are approximately 1.5 million members in forty five countries and six continents. The church belongs to the Protestant branch of Christianity that emerged during the early twentieth century. Since 1932, the church was established in India. They aim to preach the gospel to all nations before the Second Coming of Jesus. The ten main doctrines and beliefs of the church are:

  1. Holy Spirit
  2. Baptism
  3. Feet Washing
  4. Holy Communion
  5. Sabbath Day
  6. Jesus Christ
  7. The Bible
  8. Salvation
  9. The church
