Hello. Can you merge Image:OHMap-doton-Shaker Heights.png and Image:ShakerHeights-CuyahogaCoOH.png like you did with Image:Cleveland, Ohio Map-T.png? And can you also give them a transparent background? Thanks! SpencerT♦C 21:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Google Earth and Minesweeper

Any specific reason for changing the snapshots on Google Earth and Minesweeper? Please reply on my talk page. Thanks. Moreover, the snapshot of Google Earth is very large. Non-Free images used under fair-use should be less than 500px wide. Reverting your Google Earth changes. Feel free to change it back to your image, once you are done with resizing. [edit] Google Earth Image

I'm really unhappy about you changing the image in Google Earth and contributing NOTHING except an irrelevant link to Vista, I note you've done the same thing in Minesweeper This is inappropriate IMHO. Please stick to original contributions instead of the waste of time that undermines the contributions of others. My image with thorough copyright justification has been orphaned and deleted thanks to your stunt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.106.103.254 (talk) 08:16, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Images on GE and MineSweeper

It's usually not a problem to replace images especially when it's of higher quality. I don't have any problem because you replaced my image. But usually replacing an image needs consensus. Next time see to it that you discuss with other editors on the talk page and be sure that the new image adds considerably more value than the one you replace. Generally, replacing a screenshot taken on a XP machine with one that's taken on a Windows vista machine is not appreciated unless the application has some features that are different in Vista which you want to showcast.

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cleveland seal-T.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Cleveland seal-T.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --00:38, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Circuitcitylogopng.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Circuitcitylogopng.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 07:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
