[edit] GA nomination of 2005 Texas Longhorn football team
During the process of investigating 2005 Texas Longhorn football team for possible GA status, a question has been raised about this image.
I would note first of all that this image has already been nominated for deletion once (please see above) and the result was Keep.
Also, this image is directly related to and discuseed in the 2005 Texas Longhorn football team article. It is a signle frame image from a multi-hour broadcast, so it is a small poriton of the overall work. It is not infriging in any way with the commercial rights of the copyright holder. Therefore, it is usable under fair use law.
As to Wikipedia policy, it also passes. This is a photograph highlighting a specific occasion. Namely, the fact that the national championship trophy travled to a regular season game between the number 2 and number 4 teams. It is unusual for such highly ranked teams to meeet during the regular college season, and it is unusual for the trophy to travel to a regular season game. The photo is not replaceable since it was a historic event. No other photo of this trophy would be a replacement because it would not be related to the event. Johntex\talk 17:32, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

- My previous point was that there was no "identification and critical commentary on the station ID or program and its contents" in the article, as required by the license. Such commentary has since been added, so I guess that's OK. 4u1e 10:18, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
