[edit] Schedule

The BBC Radio Jersey weekday line-up takes a similar form to many other BBC Local Radio stations.

The day starts at 06:00 with the stations breakfast show, Jersey Today, presented by John Uphoff and Roger Bara. This is followed by the mid-morning show presented by Carrie Cooper and Sara Palmer.

The phone-in with Roger Bara runs from 12:00 until 13:00 and is followed by the lunchtime news summary. Tony Gillham presents the afternoon show which is on from 13:00 - 16:00 and is followed by Jersey at Four with Chris Stone.

BBC Radio Jersey broadcasts a specialist music programme from 18:00 until 19:00 every weekday, this is a repeat of the same show that went out the previous weekend.

The weekend line-up is more specialist than during the week. Saturday and Sunday both start with Jersey Today presented by Lisa Gautier but the Sunday edition has more of a religious focus than Saturday's.

Also at the weekend you have The Saturday Show with John Uphoff which includes the Bargain Store, a radio based car boot sale where people can call up with things they have for sale. On Saturday afternoons, BBC Radio Jersey broadcasts BBC Radio 5 Live's UK sport coverage.

On Sunday you have Talkback, a political discussion show where Hamish Marett-Crosby is joined by two of the islands politicians and a selection of callers to talk about anything that's been happening in Jersey.
