Bazile Mills is located at 42°30′43″N, 97°54′20″W (42.511933, -97.905677)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 26 people, 11 households, and 8 families residing in the village. The population density was 53.1 people per square mile (20.5/km²). There were 15 housing units at an average density of 30.7/sq mi (11.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White.

There were 11 households out of which 18.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 81.8% were married couples living together, and 18.2% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.67.

In the village the population was spread out with 15.4% under the age of 18, 3.8% from 18 to 24, 34.6% from 25 to 44, 26.9% from 45 to 64, and 19.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 160.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 120.0 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $35,000, and the median income for a family was $35,000. Males had a median income of $21,250 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,444. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
