The Bazai (Urdu: بازئی) are a Pashtun tribe settled in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Bazai are the sub-cast of Kakar tribe living in the western and southern region of Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat (formerly Ghoski), Muslim Bagh, Sibi formerly Sivi districts of Balochistan. The tribe are mainly settled on the mountainous regions, including the Maslag, Zarghoon, Takatoo mountains of Quetta.
The Bazai tribe fought for the defence of the Quetta from British Raj. So far no important developmental project is started in any of the regions where Bazai tribe is living.
