Talk:Bay rum

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As the article clearly explains, Bay rum is rum but not a drink. Please stop listing it as a food-stub. Thanks. Kosebamse 17:27, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Bay Rum is an excellent source for under-arm deodorant, too. It kills the bacteria that causes odors in the first place, plus it smells great.

Distillate? I have an old recipe for bay rum, which I have made and used. It involves no distillation, in fact it is a simple tincture (i.e. alcoholic infusion). Is my recipe wrong, or is someone confusing the fact that rum is distilled, with a non-distilled product containing rum? -- Securiger 05:39, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Oops, forget it; with a little more research, I discover that my recipe is indeed wrong. -- Securiger 06:24, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
