Bayswater North is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, in the state of Victoria. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Maroondah.

The residential population was 7,922 as at the 2006 census. Bayswater North is part of a significant industrial and commerical precinct, accommodating over 35,000 employees [3]

Bayswater North shares its postcode of 3153 with Bayswater, and the suburb is often referred to by residents without the 'North' part of the name. Many local businesses also drop this reference in advertising their location (eg two of the larger retailers, Bunnings Warehouse and Anaconda refer to their location simply as 'Bayswater'). The official distinction between the two is that Bayswater North is the portion of the postcode located in the City of Maroondah, whereas Bayswater is located in the City of Knox.

There is a small local shopping centre, Canterbury Gardens, which is anchored by a Safeway supermarket. Many other facilities are located in Bayswater and major shopping centres in the cities of Knox and Maroondah.

Club Kilsyth, a local landmark, burned down in 2005 and was rebuilt, reopening in November 2006. Despite its name, it is located in Bayswater North, however it is very close to the border of Kilsyth. It isn't the only oddly named facility in Bayswater North, either, as Croydon Insportz also falls within the border.
