Baylen Leonard (born June 12, 1973, Tennessee) is a radio presenter and DJ based in London, England. At the age 18 he moved to New York to study, and was based there for several years working as an actor and dancer in the theatre.
Leonard moved to London in 2000[1]. He has worked for BBC London 94.9 as a sidekick to JoAnne Good on the morning show, and Danny Baker on the afternoon show. He shares the latter role with fellow London-based American Amy Lamé. He also presents a show for Gaydar Radio. In May to December 2007 he also worked with Danny Baker on the podcast the All Day Breakfast Show.
Under the name of DJ Hey Baylen, Leonard works in several London bars, including the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and has started on an international DJ career with gigs in Istanbul in late May 2007. He also does occasional voice-over work.
He lives in the Kennington area of London.
