Bay Street is a New Jersey Transit station on Bay St. between Bloomfield & Glen Ridge Aves. in Montclair, New Jersey along the Montclair-Boonton Line. Depending on which way you take the train, it is either the first or last stop in the township of Montclair. The station was built to replace Montclair's Lackawanna Station two blocks to the West, which was closed in 1981. Originally a bare platform and small shelter, Bay Street was rebuilt with mosaics and tilework along with the construction of the Montclair Connection north of it. Bay street was the western terminus of the Montclair Branch before the connection.

All outbound trains and all but one inbound train call at this station. There are hence: inbound

outbound

coming to this station there are:

Bay Street is one of six stations in the township.
