Bawani Khera is a city and a municipal committee in Bhiwani District in the state of Haryana, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bawani Khera had a population of 17,438. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bawani Khera has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 63% of the males and 37% of females literate. 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
