[edit] Pictures

If anyone can upload pics of the battlizers (or possibly the battlizers in action), it would really spice the page up more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ManVsMachine (talk • contribs)

Furst, please sign your comments. It's not hard. Second, that's a nice request, but I doubt anyone's "holding out on us". Also, a request like that might insight slobby editting (such as in the Dino Thunder articles). Yes, pictures would be nice, but a request alone will not get them into the article. Should someone find or capture high quality images, properly upload them with detailed source information and proper tags, yes, it would "spice up" the article.

Feh. I'm not trying to complicate things or down on your post. Sorry if it came out that way. The Anti-Gnome 23:32, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Power Rangers get it first?

Why is it that the Power Rangers get the battlizer first, then the Super Sentai, if they choose, adopt it? I have a hard time following the logic. Signed by BigMac1212

I have a hard time following your statements, though I'll try my best to answer. In terms of credit, the "Battle Riser" and Bandai of America (commonly appreviated as "BoA" due in part to its less than savory reputation amongst fans) gave Saban the idea to give Power Rangers the "Battlizer". The idea came from no one source and numerous ones can be mentioned as a partial insperation.

As for Super Sentai using the finished "Battlizer" from SPD, that was one of the many products of Disney being in bed, so to spoke, with Toei. So, technically, that's no one company's fault, either. It resulted in mixed feelings, to be sure, but it wasn't just a rare case of "Super Sentai copying Power Rangers" or "Disney getting their way". And, despite what many japanese fans may believe, I'm sure both sides benefit.

Anyway, I hope that answers your question(s).

Oh! And before I forget, you can type out four "~" a the end of your comments to activate the automatic signing feature. It really helps. ACS (Wikipedian) 03:04, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How They Were Obtained

Would stating how the battlizer was obtained (as well as in what episode) be ok to put in the battlizer stats list for each? Or would it be a spoiler for those who scroll down the article? - ManVsMachine

I'm not sure sound files would be necessary, but including information is always a good idea. Just use a spoiler warning or two. ACS (Wikipedian) 00:13, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

My fault, I forgot to get rid of the media example thing that was originally there. - ManVsMachine

[edit] Sentai Reaction

What was the Super Sentai fanbase's reaction to the Battlizer in the Magiranger vs. Dekaranger movie?--71.35.75.77 01:15, 24 June 2006 (UTC) Check the article, or a sentai forum. ACS (Wikipedian) 21:00, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] About Shane and Nick's Battlizer

They are the only battlizers that are actually alive. It was the Alien in Ninja Storm, and the Fire Heart as Nicks in Mystic Force. Also Nick will be the first to have the parts of their Battlizer shrink before becoming armor(Unless you count Kai Shine in Magi Ranger where the Kingcalabuir shrunk). Also, this will be the first time that the Battlizer is the same as the sixth's/seventh's rangers morpher (Being Daggeron's instead of a new original one)

  • Not quite, actually. Nick has the only living Battlizer, to be true. (R.I.C. is a robot, is not "alive"). Shane received Skyla´s energy to gain his, but it was not a combination, but a transfer of power. DinobotTM2 22:00, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Actually there are 2 living batilizers. Nick Russel's & Mack Hartford's being formed from fire heart & sentinal knight respectively71.166.93.116 (talk) 23:03, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
  • And Jack's Batilizer was a red omega morpher which means nick's is the second repaint71.166.64.116 (talk) 22:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fixing the Triva section

I am unable to do it, but it should be increased to how Fire Heart is the Only Battlizer to shrink when it transformed, also he is the only Living version, not him and R.I.C

[edit] The Hunter Battlizer status

There are two sentences in the trivia section that contradict each other, one saying that Hunter´s Gliding Bike IS NOT a Battlizer, one saying that it IS. Instead of just deleting one or the other to suit my own opinion, I chose to bring it here to a democratic argumentation. So, yes or no? (I vote for Yes, I mean, Carter´s Battlizer is also his vehicle, but...) DinobotTM2 01:33, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Old Battlizer Picture

Does anybody have a link to that picture of Nick's battlizer in a Japanese magazine?--BigMac1212 01:39, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Green Ranger Powers

Can this really be called a "Battlizer"? The first official Battlizer was Andros' from PRiS. All this was was Tommy giving his powers to another Ranger to keep them from falling into evil hands. From this switch, Jason gets the shield, dagger, and Dragonzord. This would be more suited as an enhancement mode (which has been already entered on said page).Pitstain 09:41, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree it should perhaps be removed I've already put a note on saying its rarely considered a battlizer but its needless replication of infomation really. It was a power up after all Zack used it and if memory serves he was the Black Ranger

No Zack only used the Armour. Jason's "DragonZord Power" is different. 64.230.120.5 20:17, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Transtek Armor

Ok, we already know that Mack will have his own Battlizer in the future. So what agout the Transtek Armor? Could it be considered a Megabattle? Should it be in this article?

P.S.: Not 100% related, but i think we could develop a new page about those Special vehicles like the Ninja Glider Bike or the HoverTek. DinobotTM2 20:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Usage of term Battlizer for this page

Battlizer as a blanket term for all Red enhancements is a fandom concept. The show uses the name with only three such enhancements, in NS, DT, and SPD: you can't even count Space, because the armor wasn't the Battlizer, the device that activated it, which had several other functions that were used more frequently than the armor, was! While calling them all Battlizers makes them easier to talk about on message boards and the like, this article presents the use of "Battlizer" for all such enhancements as if it's show canon, and in the show the term is not used that way. This page should be renamed, and instances of the use of "Battlizer" as if it goes for all Red enhancements changed. Mentioning somewhere that all such enhancements are frequently called Battlizers by the fans would be good, though.

Note:In DT Tommy origanally called the batillizer the Triasic Ranger's Super Dino Mode, but eventually the term "batillizer" was used instead.

[edit] Sentinel Power-Up

I think it should be mentioned that the Sentinel battlizer was originally intended for zord purposes before Mack found out he was an android. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.37.71.144 (talk) 22:22, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
