[edit] Screenshots

Can we get some brighter (and overall better) screenshots? The current ones aren't bad, but they aren't good either. Eptin 21:38, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rave Gun

There should be sum mention about that strange Rave Gun in the first level of the American Campain. When its continully fired, it plays techno music in time with the shots and flashes difernt colours. Its found behind the baracks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.173.220.203 (talk) 22:34, 17 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Battlezone Strategy Forum

I entered a link to Bz Strat Forum (http:// battlezone1.freeforums.org) and Dart deleted it, twice, calling it "inappropriate external link".

He wants me to discuss it here before re-adding it. Did anyone discuss about adding that other forum to External links?

What's the problem? Bz Strat Forum is just another forum that supports Battlezone. I thought External links is about that. Was I wrong? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spock Bz (talkcontribs) 11:18, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Links shouldn't be added just because they exist. The other site is more than just forums. Yours is solely forums (and links to such are normally to be avoided) and is brand new to boot. I haven't been as active on Wikipedia over the last year or so and haven't always checked up additions to articles.--Drat (Talk) 11:55, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

There are 3 active Bz1 forums. BZC (already listed here), Bz Strat Forum and Sector Zero. BZC is death match forum, Bz Strat Forum is (obviously) a strategy forum and Sector Zero is forum about new Bz, Bz Enhanced (in development). I think that all 3 should be listed here because each of them represent something about Battlezone. Therefore I didn't add that link just because it exists, I added it cause it means something. Battlezone is not just a first person shooter, it is real-time strategy (from first person view). When you make a game (inside of BZ) you have to define will it be strategy game or death match and you have to choose appropriate map (strat or DM). BZ Strat Forum supports those players who play strategy games. Battlezone is primary a strategy game (check single player and what it is about), DM is just a part of it. Truth is that more people play DM than strat, but that's just because stratter play DM and DMers don't play strat. Strat is also harder than DM and that site (you are not allowing to be linked here) helps players to improve their gaming. So tell me again, why not allowing it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spock Bz (talkcontribs) 13:26, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Over the months Battlezone 1 Forum (ex BZ Strat Forum) evolved into important BZ site. Not only that it offers latest game news, strategy tips and technical help, it also has the newest BZ installer (BZ 1.4M), made by that forum. New players and old coming back, in most cases, need just that download and possible installation help. Wikipedia should help them find it. In the past Bz 1 Forum was rejected, because it was "just" a forum. Today, for all members and readers, of a 10 years old game with less than 100 players, it is more than just a forum. For example, present external link "BZ Files", offers old BZ installer (BZ 1.4L) and "BZ Club" is "just" a forum. So how about adding Battlezone 1 Forum, which is "BZ Club" and "BZ Files" in one, in external links? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.0.71.152 (talk) 21:44, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
