Crusades task force

[edit] precedence

removed bit about being the first battle in which cannons were mounted on ships. claim unsupported. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.205.62.146 (talk) 08:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Duplication

The three articles Battle of Zonchio, Kemal Reis, and Ottoman-Venetian Wars (1499-1503) share a lot of text verbatim. This isn't good -- the three articles should cover the battle, the general, and the wars in general, with minimal overlap and appropriate cross-references. --Macrakis 19:39, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

this was NOT the first battle cannons were used on ships. i believe the the fist naval battles to use cannons on ships was during the 100 years war.
