[edit] Factuality dispute

It seems that much of the information in this article comes from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" rather than any sort of reliable historical document. Someone should carefully fact check the article and perhaps make citations.

Can you list where you think there is stuff from the novel? Because when I wrote this article up, I referred only to Sanguo Zhi. _dk 08:11, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
according to Wei Yan article, he didn't resisted arrest, he was framed. he may even have command of the army. anyway, it doesn't make sense how the rearguard can suddenly overtake the main body and attempt to break to the wooden pathway. the wooden pathway breaking reminds me of liubang. Shu couldn't do what Xiangyu did in that position neither, the enemy was not in striking distance, so you couldn't rob his supplies after defeating him as it would take too long and you won't last, what is Wei Yan suppose to do in the middle of nowhere without a source of supplies anyway? i always thought SanguoZhi is slightly bias on Shu personal because Shu didn't have an official log so most of it was based on memory. however there is really no better offical source that that, it is kinda like "the bible and jesus". but could you just post the source as proof so people don't question it is from the "novel" Akinkhoo (talk) 05:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
