A fine start, but more of Needham's quote should be incorporated as regular text and not as a single block quote. Also, I really don't understand the significance of the + before every year in that quote. LordAmeth 19:18, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

As you suggested, I have fixed his blockquote into prose, and naturally got rid of the + signs for "AD".--PericlesofAthens 03:10, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
