[edit] Battle of Sunomata River
Wouldn't "Battle of Sunomata River" be a better name, since it would be a more accurate translation of the Japanese title? Or, atleast "Battle of Sunomatagawa," to remain consistent with other battles of the series. (I think "river" is more accurate, though.) Douggers 02:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

- I suppose either is fine, though I'd prefer "Sunomatagawa", "Sunomata-gawa" or something of the sort. Otherwise it lends itself towards a trend of overtranslating place names. (eg Battle of the Field of Seki instead of Sekigahara, Battle of the Inlet of Dan instead of Dan-no-ura, Battle of the Mouth of the Kizu River instead of Battle of Kizugawaguchi) LordAmeth 09:40, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- That's good enough reasoning for me. Douggers 23:05, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
