Talk:Battle of Gdynia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As far as I can tell most of the first part of the Before the battle section is false. Indeed, the Pomorze Army was to prevent the Germans from breaking through to East Prussia, but it was to hold out for as long as possible, not eternally. From the very beginning it was clear that the Land Defence would fight surrounded and the Pomorze Army was to defend Bydgoszcz and Toruń rather than Gdynia. It's well-described in the second part, which contradicts the first one. //Halibutt 08:10, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I am not sure which part do you see as contradicting. I do agree with your reasoning, so by all means, please change whatever you think is confusing.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 15:17, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
What is it with this entry. Could you not be bothered to even spell check it before posting it. Highly unprofessional!!
