The numbers presented are huge exagerations. If the Seldjuks were unable to mount more then 20000 men against the crusaders, one wonders were they got 120000-150000 men from. There were probably less then 500000 Seldjuk Turks living in anatolia at the time, its highly unlikely they could mount 150000 men against anyone considering that at the battle of manzikert the seldjuks had some 80000 men, that included thousands of kurds and arabs. Feeding 150000 is providing some 350 tons of food daily, logistically thats impossible. Even at the hight of the ottoman empire with a population of 15 million they were unable to bring such a large army together and if they did ottoman treasure was bankrupt. Who wrote this article???
