I have removed the following phrase:

"The British force forcibly separate Kashmir from the Sikhs and sell it to the Maharaja of Jammu for 1,000,000 pounds after the Battle of Aliwal."

1) This is incorrect - Kashmir wasn't sold until 2 years after the war ended, not after the battle 2) The statement has nothing to do with the battle 3) Bad grammer 4) It looks as though it was written by some over-zealous sikh trying to make the INVADING AGRESSOR army look like they were done over.
