There should be plenty here for someone more familiar with writing Wiki-standard articles to work with. The Coldwater Battery was one of the most accomplished, accurate, and effective artillery units of the American Civil War. In one instance, they opened a battle by placing the first shot fired into a locomotive over a mile away, surprising the Confederates and forcing them to leave behind supplies they were attempting to move by train.
