I was a member of the USS Albany CG-10 when she was the flagship of the Commander Sixth Fleet and the recipient of the Battenberg Cup. Lord Mountbatten visited us in our home port of Gaeta, Italy to present the cup. I believe that USS Albany CG-10 was the first recipient after renwal of the cup presentation.
