the dark knight vs the man of steel. i have to agree with the many representations of this particular fight that batman would stand victorious (with or without the kryptonite sample that superman gave him). batman is an expert in unarmed combat and since superman has a nasty habit of pulling his punches (as explained in the superman:no limits storyline) batman would start the fight with a much greater psychological advantage and use his environment to wear his opponent down.

Superman might drag his punch. But we cant for get that Superman will not wear down.The only way Batman could win that battle is by using kryptonite. Becuase with Superman's speed and power alone he can defeat Batman. superman is a total loser batman would tottally win

Superman would whipe the floor with batman any day.

This is NOT a forum if you let all Superman fans come here and say how much it sucks that he wins or losses aganist Batman, soon the place will be overrun with Batman fans saying why he would win, and then the point of a talk page will be losed can't this be archived or edited the last two headlines are in no way contributing to the article or Wikipedia, they are just fans moaning and complaining-Dark Dragon Flame 18 December 2006

Not sure who's monitoring this page, but I hope someone is. I don't remember Routh being considered for Superman in this particular project. The first time Routh's name was ever dropped was when Singer took over the Superman project and decided against Jim Caviezel. Before that, no one knew who Routh was and why he was being considered. i thik the whole Batman Vs Superman idea isn't goin to be successful, they should team-up! it'll be a financial disaster for the producers, with the story being the superheroes against eachother. In addition it contradicts the classic Superman & Batman duo thing!

This article should be merged/redirected to either Batman in other media#Cancelled Batman projects or Canceled Superman films or both. This project is not notable enough to warrant its own article, especially when the lack of citation makes any information about this project unverifiable.
