Talk:Bathylagus antarcticus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Scientific classification inconsistency
The article claims that Bathylagus antarcticus belongs to order Actinopterygii. However, the Actinopterygii article claims that “Actinopterygii” is a class, not an order. Furthermore, the Deep-sea smelt article claims that Bathylagus antarcticus belongs to family Bathylagidae under order Osmeriformes. Something's fishy here. ☺ Ben Liblit 06:42, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
