Talk:Bateman Hotel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] I have not made up the story. I have only cited the history since my grandparents, Harold and Marion Mahar, owned it. Please note that the hotel (previously called the Howell Hotel and the Kellogg Hotel) is listed in New York's historical registry. I was actually raised in the hotel, so I am not relying on hearsay. == excuse me, that is not true, this hotel has been in my family since 1910-1920, it was my great grandfathers brother that sold it, i cannot believe someone would make up a story like this.

--> No, Rebecca is telling the Truth. The Hotel was sold by Marion when she was unable to keep up with the payments. I was raised in the hotel in my early part of my life and spent many hours in the bar with my Grandma and the locals that frequented the bar.
