[edit] Recycled songs?
- Most of this album's songs are recycled from Jim Steinman's earlier projects such as Bad For Good and Pandora's Box - Original Sin.
Would anyone care to expand on this? "Recycled" as in they were already released by Steinman, or "recycled" as in they were songs that he worked on in previous projects but never released? -Durga2112 19:39, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Source for cover infomation
I wasn't sure on how to source the cover information that I added: I originaly found it in the booklet that came with the CD, and the infomation is repeated at http://www.michaelwhelan.com/gallerydetail.asp?vsImageId=26&vnMarker=24&vsGalleryid=9 --Canageek 22:31, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Good Article nomination
This article is very close to meeting the GA criteria, and I particularly liked the neutral presentation which included favourable and unfavourable reviews of the album. There is just one small point. The following paragraph seemed out of place and interrupted the flow of the text:
- Steinman joined the band for a live performance in Toronto, Canada in 1978 with the intention of going through the songs for the new album after the show. However, someone broke into their dressing rooms during the show and stole several possessions, including the new lyric book.[4] One of the songs was "Out of the Frying Pan." In a DVD audio commentary, Meat Loaf says that he doesn't think that Steinman ever got over that theft.[5]
Is this really necessary? If so please make it clear which band is being talked about. Thanks.
I've decided to put this article on hold as the issue noted above must be dealt with before GA status can be awarded. I hope that this can be addressed within the seven days allowed by on hold, and wish you all the best with your editing... -- Johnfos 23:23, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've amended the paragraph in line with your suggestion. I'd like to keep it in, as I feel that the first draft of the album's lyric book being stolen warrants a mention. I've cut it down, though, and merged with the next paragraph. The JPStalk to me 09:43, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Looks good! Johnfos 10:21, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Brilliant, ta :) Only the final of the trilogy to go now! Thanks for reviewing again. The JPStalk to me 11:53, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
I was thinking about the trilogy thing :) Have you considered doing an article that covers the three albums, drawing on each of the three individual articles, but standing on its own also, as an umbrella article. Could be FA material! All the best... Johnfos 12:04, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
