[edit] Castaways

[edit] Main Islands

During the first week, six castaways (Danny, Faith, Barrie, Katie, James and Lara) were the first people to arrive on the island. Two days later six more castaways arrived (Tom, Carly, Jack, Char, Marvyn and Susan) and one of the original six left, and was replaced. [1]

At the first beach party at the end of week one, the twelve castaways split in to two groups of six based on the group they arrived with, and chose who would be Tigers and who would be Sharks. They had to nominate one person from each group to be sent home. By random choice, the groups chose Char and James. [1]

[edit] Third Island

Unbeknown to the two competing islands, Char and James, the rejected contestants, were taken to a third island inhabited by survival expert Nick Weston. Shortly after getting to the third island the castaways decided to name themselves Hawks. [1]

[edit] Castaways That Departed

After just two days on the island, homesick Katie left the production, being replaced by 26 year old Welsh girl, Keris. Michael also left but from the third island, after complaining of feeling homesick. Also Sarah left the Hawk's island because she was ill. [1]
