Metal & Lace: Battle of the Robo Babes is a 2D fighting game released by Megatech Software for MS-DOS in 1993. It was a localization of an anime game named Ningyou Tsukai (人形遣い Ningyou Tsukai?) ("puppet operator")[1][2] originally released by the eroge company Forest. The original game company has since gone under and the game is considered abandonware.

[edit] Gameplay

Metal & Lace was a simplistic 2D fighting game which featured some very basic controls and special moves. The game was divided up into different levels in which the player had to fight a series of pretty anime girls and as each were defeated, the user was rewarded with an image of each girl. Once a level was cleared, the player would fight all the same girls again on a harder difficulty setting and the user was rewarded with another image of the girl they fought in an increasingly revealing state of undress.
