This image is from Batman Returns, not Batman.

The evidence is on Batman's chest, where we see the "standard" and widely familiar Batman logo.

1989's Batman did not use that logo on his chest, despite the massive merchandising and marketing campaign for the movie having done so, including on the movie poster. Rather, for whatever reason, the costume in the movie used an altered version, which gave the stylized bat a three pointed tail (perhaps suggesting the bat's feet) rather than the simple and unadorned point going straight down in the "standard" logo.

The "standard" logo finally appeared in Batman Returns.

It may also be good if you explain why batman is holding a gun. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.102.254.33 (talk) 15:22, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
