Batu, Kuala Lumpur

Batu is the name of a parliamentary constituency on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,[1] not to be confused with the town and constituency of Batu Gajah in the Malaysian state of Perak.

Settlements which are part of Batu constituency include Sentul. The constituency has the most Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) public housing apartments and one of the highest rates of petty crime in the city.[2]

The current Member of Parliament of Batu is Tian Chua of Parti Keadilan Rakyat. He won against the Barisan Nasional candidate Lim Si Pin with a 9,455 majority.
