Jose Perez Flores, better known as Battling Shaw or Benny Kid Roy (born October 21, 1910 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico) was a Mexican light welterweight boxer.

Battling Shaw was the first boxer from Mexico to win a world boxing championship.

[edit] Professional career

Shaw turned professional in 1927 and became the World Light Welterweight Champion after decisioning Johnny Jadick in 1933.
