"Battleground Earth" is sixty-eighth episode of the television program Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Clark is charged with high treason by Lord Nor and is taken to court with the Kryptonian Council. Nor is able to trick the council that Kal-El plans to betray New Krypton by abandoning the people, commit adultery by marrying Lois (an earthling), and that Nor gets the throne by marrying Zara. The penalty for this is death. Nor than plans to destroy Metropolis unless it surrenders. However, Ching finds an ancient Kryptonian law that saves Kal-El and gives him the right to challenge Nor in a duel. While Kal-El battles Nor in the streets of Metropolis, Lois learns that a US. Colonel has removed Kryptonite from the vaults of S.T.A.R Labs and plans to use it on Nor with Superman as bait. Lois goes and warns Clark about the Kryptonite gas. Determined, Clark beats Nor. But Nor cheated by having backup. As his soldiers use heat vision on Clark, the kryptonite gas is fired killing Nor and his men however, their bodies shield Kal-El from the kryptonite and Clark survives. Zara eventually marries Ching and they rule over New Krypton while Clark stays on Earth and plans to marry Lois.
