Battle on Shangganling Mountain is a 1956 Chinese movie, set during the Korean War in October of 1952. It is also known as the Battle of Triangle Hill [1] or Shangganling Battle.
The film follows a group of Chinese People's Volunteer Army soldiers who are blocked in the Shangganling mountains area for several days. Short of both food and water, they hold their ground until the relief troops arrive. Directed by Sha Meng and Lin Shan, the cast included Gao Baocheng, Xu Linge, and Liu Yuru. The film was shot in Changchun.
