Battle of Tulgas

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Allied troops fought a savage battle with Soviet Bolshevik units near the Northern Dvina River, known as the Battle of Tulgas. Because the battle took place on the day the armistice ending World War I was signed--November 11, 1918--it is sometimes referred to as "Peace Day's Bloody Battle."
