Battle of Tribruit
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Battle of Tribruit was one of the twelve battles won by King Arthur recorded in the Historia Britonum. The exact location of the conflict is unknown, as the river's name, Tribruit (in Welsh Tryfrwyd) has no exact contemporary equal.
The battle is mentioned in the Black Book of Carmarthen. [1]. Arthur's warrior Cai Hir (the Tall), later remembered as Arthur's foster brother Sir Kay, apparently fought there against his enemy Garwlwyd.
