Battle of Prome

The Battle of Prome was fought during November and early December of 1825, between British and Burmese forces. The British were led by Sir Archibald Campbell, while the Burmese were led by Maha Nenyo. The Burmese launched a series of attacks on British positions near Prome. Though they were partially successful, Campbell counter-attacked, and defeated the Burmese. Maha Nenyo was killed during the battle.
