The Battle of Pine Creek, also known as the Battle of Tohotonimme, was a conflict between United States Army forces under Lt. Colonel Edward J. Steptoe and an assortment of Native American tribes.[2] It took place in 1858 near what is present-day Rosalia, Washington.[3]
