The Battle of Gemäuerthof was a battle in the Great Nordic War. The Swedes under Adam Ludwig Lewenhaupt fought the Russians under Boris Sheremetyev. The Swedes were victorious, but the victory was only symbolic. In August, the Russians conquered Courland.[2]
