The Battle of Fahl was a Byzantine-Arab battle fought between the Rashidun army under Khalid ibn al-Walid (The Sword of Allah) and the Roman Empire under Heraclius and Salaqar, in Fahl along the Jordan Valley of Syria in January 635 AD (13 AH). The result was a decisive victory for Khalid ibn al-Walid and the Muslim conquest of the Roman territories of Palestine, Jordan and Southern Syria.
