The Battle of Bileća played out on 27 August 1388 between Bosnian and Serbian forces led by Duke Vlatko Vuković and Ottoman under the leadership of Lala Shahin Pasha.
First facing off the Turks at Rudine, the Bosnians finally battled near the town of Bileća and gave them a decisive defeat, which made the Ottomans give up on invading Bosnia for some time.
