The battle of Banja Luka was a battle in which the Bosnians, led by Ali-paša Hećimoglu, defeated the Austrian Empire. It took place on 4 August 1737 near the Bosnian town of Banja Luka.

Before the battle, Charles VI warned the Bosnian people that in the event of an Austrian victory, all Muslims would be forced to either leave or convert to Christianity.
