Battle for Soviet Ukraine (Russian: Битва за нашу Советскую Украину, translit. Bitva za nashu Sovetskuyu Ukrainu) (1943), is a Soviet documentary by Ukrainian director Alexander Dovzhenko and Yuliya Solntseva. It is Dovzhenko's first World War II documentary, and dealt with the Battle of Kharkov. The film cleverly incorporates German footage of the invasion of Ukraine, which was later captured by the Soviets.
